Georgia Military College Preparatory School graduated 80 cadets when the school's 144th commencement was held Friday. Class of 2023 cadets looked to the sky twice near the end of the ceremony – first as they launched their hats upwards in celebration and again when surprise fireworks were shot off over the Old Capitol Building.
